Jim "The Trim" To The Rescue

Jim

A big thank you to Jim Hill, a friend of a neighbour of Grappenhall Community Library, for tackling our hedges, which had grown a little out of control.

Jim bravely trimmed all the perimiter back down to sensible heights in a job that took a few days with petrol hedge trimmers. We are very grateful, the library seems much brighter and for the first time in many months we can now be seen from Albert Road and Victoria Avenue.

Latest Morrisons Bag Pack Day A Huge Success!

Latest Morrisons Bag Pack Day A Huge Success!

Our bag pack day at Morrisons supermarket in Stockton Heath, Friday 12th October 2012 was a great success.  A whopping £488.92 was raised towards the building work, toilet and kitchen refurbishment we are planning at Grappenhall library, which has been reopened and is now run completely by volunteers. A massive thank you to everyone kind enough to donate and help with the day.
